The dog tag of the soldiers of the 3rd Separate Brigade of Special Purpose of the Internal Forces of the Republic of Belarus.
The symbol of the brigade is the lynx – a dweller of Belarusian forest. It is an agile, fast, careful and at the same time cunning and clever animal.
Obviously, the soldiers of Belarusian special forces pretend to own the same qualities.
Dog tag “The Icon of the Blessed Virgin of Kazan” is made from stainless steel with golden enamel. It represents an iconographical relief breast-deep image of the Blessed Virgin in characteristic clothes with her head inclined to the Baby. The Baby Christ is depicted strictly full face, the figure is limited waist-deep, only his right hand with a benedictory (two-fingered) gesture is visible. The bottom of the dog tag is decorated with traditional ornament and a legend in Slavic letters: “THE MOST HOLY MOTHER OF GOD SAVE AND PROTECT”.
Dog tag “Jesus Christ the Pantocrator” is made of stainless steel without any enamel. It represents an iconographical relief image of Jesus Christ – the Heaven King and Judge. The Saviour is represented waist-deep with the Gospel in the left hand and with the right hand folded in a benedictory gesture. At the bottom of the tag there is the orthodox eight-pointed cross and the text in Slavic “SAVE AND PROTECT”.

The design used on the shield of the Air Force Seal is entirely borrowed from the heraldic representation of the mythological thunderbolt, also called “Jupiter's thunderbolt”.

Dog tag “The Virgin of Tikhvin” is made of stainless steel with enamel. It represents the scene of the talk between the Blessed Virgin and Baby Jesus, faced each other. The image of the Blessed Virgin is waist-deep, the Baby sits on the left Mother’s hand, with His legs bent in knees right foot under the left one. In His left hand He holds a roll, with the right one He blesses. The bottom of the tag is decorated with traditional ornament and a legend in Slavic letters: “THE IMAGE OF THE VIRGIN OF TIKHVIN”.
Dog tag “St. George Killing the Dragon” is made of stainless steel with enamel.
It is a picture of the silver rider in a red coat, wearing a helmet and armor, striking a black overturned dragon, which is downtrodden by the horse, with a silver spear.
The upper part of the tag is decorated with traditional ornament and inscription in Slavic letters “ST. GEORGE THE GREAT MARTYR.”
Dog tag “Saint Archangel Michael” is made of stainless steel with enamel. It represents an image of the Archangel in armour with a naked sword and special spherical mirror with a legend: “IX” – Jesus Christ.
The garment of the Archangel repeats the roman military leader’s armour: a short tunic under which a metallic cuirass is worn. The latter is decorated with a relief. The scarlet officer’s coat is tied on the left shoulder.
The bottom of the tag is decorated with traditional ornament and a legend in Slavic letters: “SAINT ARCHANGE MICHAEL”.
Dog tag “Nickolas the Wonderworker” is made of stainless steel with enamel. It represents a relief waist-deep image of Saint Nickolas in strictly frontal grand posture with blessing right hand and the Gospel in the left one (there is a cross on the binder of the Book).
A monastic elder with high templed forehead, small rounded and curly beard is the most widespread iconic image.
Dog tag “The Cossack Troops” is made of stainless steel with enamel.
It depicts a hobbler Cossack dressed in a sample 1915 uniform with a lance and a Cossack sword.
In the background there is a distinctive V-shaped Cossack sleeve-patch, painted in the colors of Russian national flag.
At the top edge of the tag there is the motto: “For Faith and Fatherland”.
The motto describes the basic commands that must know each Russian soldier: soul – to God, heart – to the people, life – to Fatherland, honor – to no one.
Dog tag “Airborne Troops of Russia” is made of stainless steel by stamping. It is a picture of the general emblem of the Airborne Troops of Russia in the form of an open parachute with two planes on each of the sides.
At the top of the tag is the inscription: “RUSSIA”, at the bottom – an abbreviated name of the troops: “VDV”.
The obverse of the tag specifically provides a smooth space for the possibility of inscribing of personal data, such as blood type, number of the unit, personal number, etc.

Dog tag “Kantemirovskya Tank Division” is made of stainless steel with enamel.
It is a relief image of a bare-teeth bear's head in a frame of oak leaves on the background of Russian national flag.
At the top of the tag there is the name of the division decorated with silhouettes of tanks: “The 4th Kantemirovskaya Tank Division of the Guards”. At the bottom – the motto of the Division: “Honor and Glory.”
