As well as Fazan, Bekas and Glukhar, Drofa refers to the “bird flight” of Kizlyar tourist knives, combined by their common characteristics. The S-shaped blade of the knife has a bevel butt. A blade of such a shape, with a one-sided sharpening, is optimal for use in cold climates or confined spaces, and is less massive.
The concave sharpening of the blade helps to achieve a particular subtlety and sharpness of the cutting edge with a thick and durable butt.
The handle made of Caucasian walnut is treated with a special water-repellent compositive and does not crack. It is attached to the shaft by means of an epoxy adhesive composition.
