The pin badge was worn above the left breast pocket of the coatee, so that the bottom of the badge was symmetrical to the pocket’s flap.
The pin badge is made of a goldish metal with enamel.
It is shaped as a figured heraldic shield with sunbeams coming out of it.
There is the emblem of the Ground Forces on the red field of the shield.
The emblem of the Ground Forces represents an image of a faceted five-pointed star framed with two oak branches.
On the reverse side of the pin badge there is a device for fastening it to military clothes. Method of attachment is clamper.
