Authentic brass cockade designed in 1964. It was intended to be worn by the ranks and junior commanders on a khaki garrison cap (or panama hats in hot regions).
The cockade is a five-pointed star with the hammer and sickle.
The internal relief of the star, together with the translucent ruby enamel, creates the effect of its inner glow in the form of sunlight.
