Commemorative pin badge, made of goldish metal with enamel, represents a stylized image of the globe with parallels and meridians, cartographic contours of the territory of the Russian Federation and with a relief image of a mobile launcher of missile system.
In the upper part of the commemorative pin badge, in particular, in the red heraldic-shaped shield, there is the coat of arms of Russia. It represents a golden two-headed eagle with a sceptre and an orb which are the symbols of the career service.
The globe is framed with a falling national flag (from above) and with a laurel wreath (below). Over the wreath there is a shield with text: “Strategic Missile Troops 35th anniversary”. On the right side of the pin there is the year of the foundation of the troops – 1959, on the left – the anniversary 1994year.
The pin badge is connected, with a loop and a ring, to a golden rectangular bar painted with red enamel. The lower part of the bar is decorated with laurel leaves.
The pin badge is made of aluminium alloy with a safety pin fastening. The method of painting is cold enamel.
