The Great Imperial Crown is the main symbol of the power of the Russian monarchs, the official imperial regalia from 1762 until 1917.
The Crown is represented as a headdress composed of two silver hemispheres, which symbolize the unity of the East and the West in the Russian Empire.
The pin badge is made of anodized aluminum. It is fastened to clothing with a clamper (or “the barbs”).
