Dog tag “Anarchy” (Skull) is made of stainless steel with enamel.
It depicts an image of a black developing cloth with the Jolly Roger emblem attached to a bayonet.
The inscription on the tag calls: “Anarchy is the mother of order.”
The black banner is the traditional anarchist symbol. The uniform blackness of it is in absolute contrast to colorful flags of most nation-states.
The Jolly Roger (a black flag with skull and bones) has gained popularity among anarchists.
Some claim to use the Jolly Roger as a form of respect for the Pirate way of life, freedom and a lack of authority. Many Pirate ships were naturally democratic and most of the crew were working class runaways from the highly repressive societies where they originated from. Anarchists may find proximity with the concept of pirate utopias, especially the legendary island of Libertatia. The Libertatian pirates were identified as forerunners to anarchists.
In the XX century the Jolly Roger was used as an emblem by British commandos, as well as storm troopers of France and the United States.
The bikers consider it a symbol of triumph and a ward against death.
The Jolly Roger is also a popular attributes of the youth subculture.
