During the whole time of its manufacturing, the Kizlyar Biker has obtained the reputation of the “Die Hard,” a hard worker, a devoted friend and a reliable assistant.
To lock the blade in the open position Biker-2 uses a linear lock. This construction completely eliminates the possibility of unauthorized folding of the blade during operation. The handle consists of riveted steel plates. On the lock side there is an extra plate for stiffening. The plates of Caucasian walnut are impregnated with a special compound, which gives them good moisture barrier properties after polymerization.
The blade has a spear-point shape, the wedge sharpening comes from the butt. On the blade there is a pin, which promotes one hand opening of the knife.
The knife does not apply to melee weapons.
Kizlyar knives are manufactured in the Republic of Dagestan (Russian Federation) since 1990. At 1995 the manufacturer has received its export license and very soon obtained a world wide fame and strong reputation due to their highest quality and affordable prices.
The Kizlar knives are hand-made according to traditional technologies of medieval Caucasian armourers incorporated with modern techniques and metal working methods. That is why the Kizlyar knives are so popular among those appreciating outstanding knife qualities ensured by individual inspection of each item before it leaves the factory.
Though LLC “Production Company “Kizlyar” do not outsource their production to other countries (none of the knives have a “made in China” label) their prices remain reasonable and competitive.
