Meet the NSK series of Kizlyar flic knives!
The abbreviation “NSK” stands for “Kizlyar Clasp-Knife”.
The Russian historical name of a jackknife is close to the notion of “penknife”, due to the use of small folding pocket knives to repair goose pens when writing.
The handle of the NSK-2 is made of natural Caucasian walnut impregnated with a waterproof compound. The clamping screws are made of stainless steel.
To open it and close, the knife requires an adult effort, i.e. it is safe for children, as a child could not open it by himself.
The blade is held by a spring. In the open position the blade is securely fixed, eliminating the risk of unauthorized folding of the blade during operation.
The NSK-2 is assembled very carefully, without any backlash between the blade and the handle. The washers between the blade and the body are made of bronze.
When opening and closing the knife you can hear a clear distinct click.
Kizlyar NSK-2 is an excellent knife for everyday usage in urban environments.
The knife does not refer to melee weapons.
