The blade is slightly tilted downward relative to the handle. The broad line of the blade’s curvature is convenient for cutting and game processing. The concave, finely honed grinds provide a good cut. If necessary, the blade is easy to sharpen to the initial condition.
The knife comes with a sheath of tough durable leather, completed with additional fixing at the base of the handle (a strap with a buckle).
The handmade sheath is decorated with an ornamental embossing.
The Kizlyar Anchar does not refer to melee weapons and has the confirming certificate.
The “Anchar” means “oro” in Russian – a poisonous tree of Southeast Asia.
Due to its original shape, the Kizlyar Anchar looks very predatory. The knife is made very carefully. The concave sharpening of the blade helps to achieve a particular fineness and sharpness of the cutting edge, though the butt is really durable and thick. The sharp concave tip of the blade facilitates cutting in tight places. The factory sharpening is done at a highest level of quality – the blade shaves.
The polished handle of Caucasian walnut features a complex and beautiful texture.
Despite the fact that the Anchar is a hunting and carving knife, it copes with any kitchen work, but requires some habituation.
