Product Description
The Enot is a real masterpiece of the Kizlyar’s smiths. The shape of its blade resembles classical skinning drop-points widely used by hunters through centuries. Though one could say that Enot is a skinning knife “on steroids”!
Its marvelous blade is made of French Z60 steel. Due to molybdenum-vanadium doping the 1/64 inch cutting edge bears a highest wear resistence. This is very essential for a skinning knife, for heavy duty needs its constant razor sharpness.
The 3/16 thickness of the blade gives the knife a considerable rigidity. Thus it can be used as a small crowbar. When under load and power cuts, the wide butt is convenient as a stop for the thumb.
The knife comes in two variants of sharpening: wedge and concave. The concave sharpening high razor grinds helps to achieve a particular fineness and sharpness of the cut.
The big convergence angle of the butt and the edge rounding is convenient for both cutting and skinning works, as it reduces the risk of cutting the skin in case of a careless movement.
The handle is made of ultra durable molded Elastron-G. The innovative material is unbeatable when it comes to heat and cold resistance. It is also resistent to mechanical abrasion, aggressive chemicals and UV radiation.
The ergonomic shape of the handle is convenient for different grips. It retains its anti-friction properties regardless of environmental conditions. Additionally, on the back of the handle, there is a large incision for a secure fit and control of the knife in hand.
The knife is equipped with a most comfortable sheath of thick genuine leather. It perfectly holds the knife, allowing blind sheathing and unsheathing. Its fixing to the waist belt can be both tough or on free suspension.
The knife does not apply to melee weapons, which is confirmed by the corresponding Certificate.
