The NSK-7 is a traditional clasp-knife with a simple tension lock mechanism to hold the blade in its place. The lock-type used is good for a wide range of cutting tasks, but you should be very careful when applying pressure to the point as the blade can spring closed.
The handle of the NSK-7 is made of natural Caucasian walnut impregnated with a waterproof compound. The clamping screws are made of stainless steel.
To open it and close, the knife requires an adult effort, i.e. it is safe for children, as a child could not open it by himself.
The blade is held by a spring. In the open position the blade is securely fixed, eliminating the risk of unauthorized folding of the blade during operation.
The NSK-7 is assembled very carefully, without any backlash between the blade and the handle. The washers between the blade and the body are made of bronze.
When opening and closing the knife you can hear a clear distinct click.
Kizlyar NSK-7 is an excellent knife for everyday usage in urban environments.
The knife does not refer to melee weapons.
