In our opinion, Kizlyar U-8 is underestimated among knife-collectors, and continues to be popular just as a kitchen knife. Nevertheless, the beauty of the blade lies in its simplicity, and if you take it in hand, you immediately feel its potential and brutal character.
The blade tapers to the tip with direct butt.
The handle is made of Caucasian walnut, complemented by front bolsters, which, as well as the slabs, are neatly riveted to the shank.
The long handle of simple shape is very handy. The center of gravity is located between the bolsters and the first pair of rivets.
Its full length sheath is handmade of black 3/16 inch thick leather. The knife immerses into the sheath deeply and is fixed with a special flap. The sheath features a loop through suspension on the back side designed for rigid attachment to the belt.
For more convenient extraction of the knife out of the sheath it is recommended to use the lanyard.
The 1/8 inch thick blade makes the knife convenient to use for heavy duty cutting and meat chopping. It’s a great pleasure to use this knife due to its slimline shape and solid feel.
The high carbon rust resistant blade comes with a walnut handle and full length leather sheath.
The knife does not apply to melee weapons.
