The “Rip-Stop” fabric of woven fibers is one of the developments of the Central Clothing Directorate of Russian Ministry of Defense. It has a modern look, excellent performance characteristics and high durability.
In conjunction with windproof fabric it is used in the manufacture of the costumes for the Airborne Troops (VDV), Coastal Troops of the Navy and has received positive feedback during the operation.
The jacket has two breast pockets and one shoulder pocket on the left sleeve. The inner pocket is absent, but the breast pockets have two compartments on the inner side, arranged one after the other.
The jacket fastens with buttons. All the buttons, except for the top, hidden with a flap. At the bottom a button is not provided, which makes it comfortable to wear the jacket tucked into the pants (for special forces) or above them – with a west belt.
The pockets and cuffs are fastened with Velcro, the straps – with buttons.
The pants have two trouser and four patch pockets. Thigh and back pockets are on a double Velcro. At the bottom the pantlegs are regulated with holding elastics on buttons.
For the convenience of wearing the pants over the boots, or tucked into them, the ends of the pantlegs can be pulled together (narrowed) with special laces.
Outside, in the most rubbing places of the suit, on the jacket elbows and between the pantlegs, additional insertions of the same material are sewn to increase durability.
Using Velcros on the cuffs of the jacket provides maximum comfort of the density adjustment of the sleeve to fit the wrist.
