The emblem of the Central Test Site is designed in the style of the sleeve patches of the Navy specialists – a black heraldic shield with a white border, which shows an anchor and chain, with a superimposed image of a polar bear on the silhouette of the Novaya Zemlya archipelago on a background of the stylized image of the globe with the parallels and meridians.
