The chest pin badge is made of a goldish metal with colored enamels.
It is a relief emblem of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB): the triangular elongated downward shield with carved top corners and a silvery edging. In the red field of the shield there is a superimposed stylized image of a golden double-headed eagle with raised wings, holding the scepter and orb, topped with a large and two smaller crowns. On the eagle’s chest there is an image of a horseman spearing a dragon.

The emblem stands for the years of glorious fighting history. Initially it belonged to the first created in the USSR special actions group “Vityaz” (Knight-errant). The fist over the machine gun shortly and clearly shows force and confidence. Further this emblem was borrowed by the majority of the special forces detachments.

It is a image of crossed-hammer and sickle with the motto of the French Revolution, “Liberty, Equality, Fraternity” in Russian and French.Freedom – the ability to do anything that does not harm others.
Equality – means that all are equal before the law.
Brotherhood – do not do to others what you would not want to get myself, and do it in relation to other such good deeds, which would be in relation to themselves. -
Dog tag “The Icon of the Blessed Virgin of Kazan” is made from stainless steel with golden enamel. It represents an iconographical relief breast-deep image of the Blessed Virgin in characteristic clothes with her head inclined to the Baby. The Baby Christ is depicted strictly full face, the figure is limited waist-deep, only his right hand with a benedictory (two-fingered) gesture is visible. The bottom of the dog tag is decorated with traditional ornament and a legend in Slavic letters: “THE MOST HOLY MOTHER OF GOD SAVE AND PROTECT”.
